Quality Control & Optical Manufacturing Standards

Where our numbers come from: ISO9001-controlled milestones from incoming glass to finished instrument, verified on interferometers and spectrophotometers.

Incoming inspection

Optical glass, substrates, electronics and mechanical parts enter through IQC with lot traceability. Supplier certificates of analysis are verified against our own measurements — filed, not trusted.

In-process control

Grinding, polishing and coating milestones are inspected against drawings as work moves. A surface that fails at polish never becomes someone else's assembly problem; coating runs carry witness samples measured on the spectrophotometer.

Final inspection

Finished instruments pass optical alignment checks; sealed models run waterproof and purge verification; rangefinder models run laser-class safety checks; electronics platforms run full-function test before packing.

Documentation

ISO9001-controlled records at every transfer. Verification data can accompany shipments per program — the audit question 'where does this number come from' has a filing answer for every unit class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can QC data ship with our order?

Yes — per-program, the production lot's interferometric, coating-spectrum and dimensional data travels with the shipment. Tell us the format your QA team needs.

What standards do the instruments carry?

ISO and CE certification across the consumer lines; laser products carry classification data per destination. Component verification follows the tolerances on your drawing.
