The Spotting Scopes Line from the Factory
What Spotting Scope Buyers Really Compare
Spotting scope buyers shop on three things: reach without mush, eyepiece ergonomics, and how the system behaves on a tripod. Magnification ranges on modern ED scopes overlap heavily — 20-60x is the crowded band — so the visible differences come from glass, coating, body rigidity and focus feel.
Angled vs straight bodies is the first decision. Straight scopes point naturally for glassing ridgelines and work at standing height; angled scopes keep the eyepiece low for seated positions, digiscoping rigs and sharing a view across a group. Stocking both covers your customers instead of forcing your inventory bias on them.
Digiscoping Is a System, Not an Accessory
A scope that accepts a stable phone or camera adapter without flex turns into a digiscoping kit — a meaningfully higher basket. The mechanics that matter: a focus travel that can hit infinity with the adapter in circuit, an eyepiece that doesn't vignette a small sensor, and mounting threads that don't creep under the weight of a phone clamp. We spec our scopes for adapter duty, and the adapter itself is an OEM line item.
Program Notes for Retail and Range Programs
Target-range programs value durable magnification with clearly marked turrets and fast target recovery; hunting retail values low weight and quiet operation; birding retail values eye relief and close focus. These are different setups on the same optical family — one reason private-label programs with us often split a single scope platform into two or three retail skins.

Straight or angled spotting scope — what should I stock?
Both, if the program allows. Straight bodies suit standing glassing and direct aiming; angled bodies suit seated use, digiscoping and group sharing. Retail programs that stock one platform in both geometries capture both buyer instincts.
Can your spotting scopes work with phone adapters?
Yes — our scopes are specified for digiscoping duty with stable adapters, and the adapter is itself an OEM line item. Check infinity reach with your chosen adapter in circuit during sampling.
What tripod do I need for these scopes?
A fluid-head tripod rated above the scope's weight. Scope and tripod are sold as a system in most programs; we can bundle or recommend rated supports per model.
Do you offer private label on spotting scopes?
Yes — body color, decals, eyepiece marking, kit composition and packaging are standard on existing platforms; custom magnification bands are available on selected housings.
